Creating Leaders for the Next Generation
ACNC BYTE Path to Leadership
The BYTE Path to Leadership is a three-tier program designed by ACNC to support the career paths of future leaders. The BYTE Technology Events, BYTE Internship Program, and the BYTE Mentorship Program provide training and guidance for leaders of all ages and skill sets. Each program is intended to inspire creative solution thinking, develop technical skills, and support individual career ambitions.
BYTE Technology Event
BYTE Technology events are hands-on training sessions for youth interested in learning Software Development, Cybersecurity, Computer Programming, and Graphic Design. The BYTE events are an all-day age-appropriate experience filled with fun activities that introduce basic technical skills.

BYTE Internship Program
ACNC partners with organizations like Baltimore Youthworks to afford high school students the opportunity to explore employment in IT design, project management, and systems administration. As a part of the BYTE Internship program, interns gain experience while working on active projects. Potential interns may submit their resumes and career goals to ACNC leadership to be considered for internship opportunities.
BYTE Mentorship Program
The BYTE Mentorship Program pairs mentees with ACNC senior team members who will guide and support the mentee’s career aspirations.
