System Engineer
TS/SCI w/ FS Poly Required
Responsibilities.
The System Engineer (SE) applies systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement. The SE interacts with the government regarding technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, and conflicts. The SE communicates effectively with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives. The SE is responsible for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and associated deliverables with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288.
Education.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training.
Experience.
ISO/IEC15288 Technical Process Areas
Information Technology and Internet Protocol (IP) networking areas
Cisco, VMware, Linux, and Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, SharePoint, Microsoft ASP.NET, and other SE tools
Formatting and troubleshooting CSS, JavaScript, HTML5
Creating software development product backlogs, roadmaps, and release plans
Requirements development, hardware & software integration, and verification
Agile and DevOps principles
